Here is the episode I most recently watched on my quest to watch every episode of Star Trek Ever Made.

Today’s : Hopes and Fears

I loved this episode, and I think there are two main reasons why:

1. I can’t deny that every time they show a new ship from Starfleet I feel like the next Mustang is being revealed, or I’m looking at spy shots in Motor Trend of the newest Alfa Romeo.
2. I love the fact that Voyager brought Ray Wise back from Twin Peaks for yet another Star Trek episode as a different alien species.  And then, as if to be used as a metaphor, Ray’s character is assimilated by the Borg never to be seen again … kind of like Ray.

This is the USS Dauntless, and it has slip space technology... kind of like the Even Horizon... only without Laurence Fishburne
