New Golden Eye? Or Old Golden Eye for new Wii?

Man I could snipe on this game for hours... never hit anything... but snipe for hours
Nintendo announced this week that there is a new Golden Eye Video game for the Wii. From what we can see, it is the same story as the original GE game/movie… granted one big difference… no Pierce Brosnan. Instead of the Mama Mia main man it is Daniel Craig, our current Bond, taking the lead role of this game. I don’t know if this is what today’s gamer needs though. From what I can tell the graphics aren’t great, the multiplayer has been done, and MW has control of the first person shooter junkies for now.
But what are your thoughts?? Can’t wait to sneak in through the bathroom stall again?

i love how in so many ways it is exactly like the original with just slightly better graphics and a faster engine moving the gameplay along.
There is a big nostalgic part of me that loves that kind of detail. Won’t lie, I’ll play it.
Caught this off the big N’s E3 press conference. This is actually very much in line with the “remix” trend of titles nowadays (see: Bionic Commando Rearmed, Street Fighter II HD Remix, asst. Castlevania, Gradius, Contra titles, and even more recent games such as Conkers BFD, Perfect Dark, and REZ).
Seeing as first-person shooters aren’t all too common on the Wii, it’ll be interesting to see how well this takes up the mantle. Hopefully it’ll end up being as much fun as the N64 original.
