Everyone who plays xbox live knows that the time between matches turns any grown individual (usually a man sometimes a cat) into a six year old waiting for their turn to open a Christmas present. Seconds seem like lifetimes, and minutes seem like Play Station Online would have been a better choice.  My favorite part is how everyone has their own way of passing the time between virtual carnage.  My brother has his computer up, his music playing, facebook launched on his browser, is usually texting someone, changing his weapon variation, and eating something (nachos and tacos mainly). I think it is his strategy to keep every sense active so when the game play begins it will seem some how like slow motion and easier to react to? I don’t know, but for some reason my parents never wanted to put him on Ritalin (yeah good call).

Ways to pass the time between Xbox Live Games

Go against the Gamer stereo type and do some sit ups or something.

Think about it, what if you did a set of push ups and sit ups ever time you waited for a game to start, and you could stop doing them till the game started?  You would be like a left handed mathematician, a walking contradiction.  Granted not doing much for your lower body, but you’ll look great with your shirt off and jeans! The only problem is how out of breath you’ll be when you get back in the game.

Cuz you know you haven’t done this since you pressed that green light on the front of your xbox.

Go out side for a second

That light coming in from the window is more than a producer of glare on your screen.  It is what non-gamers call the sun.  Working with carbon dioxide and water it helps create things called “plants”.  You most likely have hidden behind digital versions of these in either Halo or MW2.

Get an MBA from the University of Phoenix

Just sign in on your laptop in between games and finally get that degree your co-worker keeps rubbing in your face.  Don’t like getting up off the couch and really like playing online??? You are the reason why Online universities were created, sure it might mean a lot to you when you rank up on MW2, but an MBA is a little more universal.
