Explaining Sci-fi using Mathew McConaughey Movies
I know that the complex nature of different fictional universes are hard to really wrap your head around, especially without any reference point to begin with. Just like learning a different dialect of klingon, it is good to first know your basica vernacular. Therefore, I took the liberty of listing a few great sci-fi universes and how they compare to Mathew McConaughey movies.
Battlestar Galactica:: U-571
Soldiers run for their Lives surrounded by the enemy swarn to kill them.
One of these stories has the chissled jaw of McConaughey, and the other has a character named after a popular coffee franchise.
Star Trek:: Dazed and Confused
A group of recent graduates come into their own while experiencing life changing events.
One of these movies has McCaonaughey with a perv stash… and a line about loving high schoolers, and the other movie has a pointy-eared alien time traveling and pinching people in the neck.
Star Wars::Reign of Fire
A small band of humans fight and defeat an overwhelming enemy.
One of these two movies has a scene where a bald tatted Mathew Mc jumps into the mouth of a dragon, and the other has horrible prequels.
Alien::Surfer Dude
A life form leaches onto another, impregnating it, and eventually leading to something hatching and killing anything it touches.
One of these movies had some of the hardest scenes to watch in a movie to date that gave many audience members sleepless nights, and the other was the movie Alien.
