Hiding Star Trek around you without others knowing sometimes risks exposing you as a large tool.  I.E. What I’m about to suggest.

It is propperly called the USS Enterprise by those in the Federation of planets.  I didn’t know this before but that actually meant “United Space Ship.” Lame? Kinda… but still useful in making the Nerd Inside giggle a little.

Let’s take a look at the names of those beautiful ships of the Federation of Planets::

USS Enterprise, USS Voyager, USS Excelsior, USS  Prometheus, USS Defiant, USS Intrepid

… the logic behind names of the ships make as much sense as current plot of Heroes…meaning you can name some of your own without needing to follow any criteria.  Let me also ask you how many emails do you actually read from star to finish??  Sure there are those emails that you get after getting in a huge fight, or maybe you’re just starting to date someone and you read any email from them over and over and over again. But, the majority of the long emails you get are work relatd…aka LAME.

Time to create some new Star Ship Names via work Email.

My main tactic is via replies or forwards… let me explain. No one reads what they have already written, so when someone sends you an email that you need to reply to, do a quick read over what they wrote and search for possible ship names, then when you find one just type the three letters : USS.  Most who see this won’t think it’s anything other than a glitch in the email, but you’ll know better.  Here are some of my favorite new ship names from recent Emails.
